A good profile video let's a student get to know a little bit about you before your first lesson. It will put them at ease and make your first interaction more comfortable.
You SHOULD:
•	Make your Intro Video about 1 minute (60 seconds) in length (at least 30 seconds, but no longer than 90 seconds)
•	Appear in the video. Learners want to see who you are.
•	Include the following information in your video:
o	Your first name, and/or preferred nickname
o	Where you are from/where you currently live
o	What language you speak natively and what language(s) you teach
o	Say something interesting about yourself. Consider including one of the following: why you love teaching, how/why you got started teaching, what you love most about teaching, what skill you like teaching the most, your favorite type of learner, all the locations you have lived/taught in, why you enjoy teaching for Global LT, what format you like teaching best (face-to-face, virtual, outings, etc.)
 Best Practices:
•	If you are using your phone, record your video in landscape mode, and prop the phone, use a tripod, or have someone else record you so the video isn't shaky.
•	Be sure you are in an area that is quiet, well-lit, and doesn’t have a distracting background. Natural daylight and a blank wall or simple background is best.
•	The camera should be centered, and you should be in the middle of the frame, not off to one side.
•	The camera should at your eye level and relatively close to you, but you should not fill the entire frame.
•	The camera should be neither tilted up nor tilted down.
• Make sure you wear clothing that isn't distracting or too revealing
• Smile and be confident. Look into the camera as if it was a person you were having a conversation with.
•	Speak clearly and naturally. Try not to talk too fast or too slow.
 You should NOT:
•	Include any personal contact information (no phone or email).
•	Talk about other companies you might teach for or mention your own personal business (no solicitation).
•	Use any copywritten media (no background songs that you do not own the rights to).
•	Record your video in vertical mode, or square mode when using your phone.
•	Mention anything about personal beliefs, politics, religion, etc.
